On April 7, 2025, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) established a new inspection standard for the "body and anchor ring," which is the side of the tower of wind power generation equipment, which states that "check for cracks or rust in the paint on the outer surface of the welded parts."

Tower exterior inspection service

This service utilizes technology from the French company Cornis SAS, which uses drones equipped with high-definition cameras to photograph the tower, then uses AI to analyze the captured image data and detect cracks, rust, and damage to the paint.

・Using a high-magnification camera mounted on a drone, even minute deterioration on the tower surface can be visualized with high precision.

・Automatic analysis and reporting using AI

・Inspection results can be managed centrally on the same platform as the Blade AI inspection service

・Working at height is no longer necessary, improving safety on-site and significantly speeding up inspections.
