We applied LEP Paint using a blade maintenance robot!

Hello! This is LEBO ROBOTICS.

We recently conducted a field service using robots to apply "LEP Paint"!

LEP Paint is a paint used to protect blades.

▼Surface coated by hand

Due to its high viscosity and stickiness, it is difficult to spread evenly by hand, requiring a high level of skill to ensure consistent application quality. When applied by hand, the paint's properties may leave unevenness or brushstrokes on the surface.

▼Surface after coating by robot

On the other hand, when LEP Paint was applied using a robot, the paint was spread evenly, and the surface after application was so smooth that it reflected the surroundings.

The video shows how the applied surface becomes as smooth as a mirror.

Blade maintenance requires not only working at heights but also application techniques tailored to the characteristics of the materials used. LEBO aims to reduce the burden and risks on workers and achieve consistent work quality by automating these tasks, which are often dependent on human skill, using robots.
