[Inspection and repair season has arrived!] hree LEBO services that support wind turbine maintenance

Hello! We are LEBO ROBOTICS.

As wind turbine blade repairs begin in earnest in early spring, we would like to introduce three services that LEBO offers to support wind turbine maintenance! Please feel free to contact us with any concerns you may have about wind turbine maintenance.


1. AI Blade Inspection Service

This solution enables quick and highly accurate wind turbine blade inspections through ground-based photography and AI analysis. There is no risk of falling as there is no need to work at height, and it is possible to photograph 8 to 12 blades in a day. To date, we have inspected over 800 blades in Japan, and are used by many businesses. If businesses prefer, we can also photograph using a drone.


2. Robotic blade repair service

Our wind turbine maintenance robot, developed from scratch, is capable of blade repair and blade lightning rod inspection. Blade repair is equipped with the functions of polishing blades, applying putty, cleaning, and painting. Thick-film blade leading edge protection paint, a recent trend, is a product with high viscosity that is difficult to apply, but our robot is able to apply it "smoothly and with controlled thickness."

Remote operation addresses issues such as safety, work efficiency, and accuracy during repair work.


Recently, we invited businesses and wind turbine manufacturers to our office to hold a demonstration of blade repair using a robot! Please take a look at the report from that day.
